We provide grants of up to $1,000 to help individuals cover essential medical expenses, easing financial strain and supporting their ability to receive needed care during challenging times.

We provide $150 gas cards to help individuals access critical treatments and healthcare resources, easing the burden of transportation costs and supporting their journey toward better health.
Medication Cost Research
We help individuals find more affordable prescription options by identifying cost-saving alternatives, reducing out-of-pocket costs and supporting consistent access to medications.

Thrive & Purpose Grant Program
Financial Assistance for Seniors Facing Health Challenges
Thrive & Purpose Foundation is committed to providing financial assistance and essential resources to individuals aged 50 and older in Kern County who are navigating ongoing health challenges. Our program currently supports a wide range of medical conditions, with the exception of cancer, to help reduce financial barriers and improve access to care.
Eligibility & Application Process
✔ Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of Kern County, age 50 or older, and managing a qualifying medical condition (all conditions supported except cancer).
✔ Application Window: Applications are accepted year-round, with each individual eligible to apply once per calendar year.
✔ Submission & Review: Applications are carefully reviewed by the Thrive & Purpose Grant Committee. Please allow up to 90 days for review and approval.
How to Apply
Interested individuals can submit an application directly through the Thrive & Purpose Foundation website. Applicants will need to provide:
✔ Proof of age and residency (e.g., government-issued ID, utility bill).
✔ Medical cost details (e.g., copies of bills, receipts).
✔ A personal statement detailing your experience with heart failure and how this grant will help meet your healthcare needs.
